VIDEO: Big Baby News!

Posted in Day-To-Day, Time-Lapse, Travel, Videos, Videos By Me by matt on Thursday, March 28, 2013

On our holiday to Antalya, Turkey, the wife and I thought it’d be fun to announce the sex of our baby via a 40 second time-lapse in the sand! Hope ya like!

If the video isn’t loading for you, watch it on my Vimeo stream here.

Painting the Bathroom Time-lapse

Posted in Family, Photography, Videos by matt on Wednesday, September 7, 2011

I made this in honor of my mom’s strange love for painting walls. I wish we could’ve painted it together. Or maybe I could’ve just watched?

It took awhile to figure out how to do a time-lapse video with our camera. Apparently the software discs that come with your camera actually have software on them–crazy, right? The intervals are only 5 seconds apart, but I think it still turned out alright since I painted with a tiny brush.

Afternoon at the Gun Range

Posted in Family, Videos by matt on Wednesday, August 24, 2011

I’ve already posted this in a few other places, but I’d like to have it on this blog as well.

If you haven’t seen it, the men in my family took a day off to enjoy a little bromantic getaway at the Dallas police force gun range. We got to shoot some awesome guns, and I decided to try my hand at our camera’s video feature.

I’m seriously interested in doing more video whenever possible, but I know I’ve got a lot to learn. If you’ve got any pointers or critiques or anything please leave them in the comment section below. And thanks for helping me get better!
