PhotoPhilanthropy Finalist

Doctors prep for surgery in Najaf, Iraq.

Much to my surprise, I got an email this morning from one of the judges at the 2012 Photo Philanthropy photo competition saying I was a finalist!

Apparently they’re sending a bunch of sweet swag to my parent’s house (Iraq wasn’t ideal for shipping fancy photo gear) in Texas—a new camera bag is on the way. Considering all the applicants, it’s an honor to even be a finalist.

That’s kind, thank you. It was great chatting with you the other day.
