First Time W/ A Telephoto Lens

Posted in Day-To-Day, Photography, Telephoto by matt on Friday, June 29, 2012

A Kurdish man using exercise equipment in the park. A couple weeks ago I snagged a friend’s telephoto lens and got a few sniper shots in a local park.

I felt a little weird taking pictures from a hundred yards away. Some of my friends already joke that I’m CIA, so this just serves to reinforce that idea.

But a 200mm lens puts you a lot closer to things normally out of reach, like Kurdish men working out on playground equipment in business casual, sparrows, and the moon.

I’d really like to see how the video part of my camera handles with a telephoto lens.
