Painting the Bathroom Time-lapse

Posted in Family, Photography, Videos by matt on Wednesday, September 7, 2011

I made this in honor of my mom’s strange love for painting walls. I wish we could’ve painted it together. Or maybe I could’ve just watched?

It took awhile to figure out how to do a time-lapse video with our camera. Apparently the software discs that come with your camera actually have software on them–crazy, right? The intervals are only 5 seconds apart, but I think it still turned out alright since I painted with a tiny brush.

A tiny brush indeed. A roller would have made things LOTS easier! Did you ever finish the rest?

Cayla actually decided she just wanted the bottom half of the room painted. I think she’s got more stenciling in mind.

what a HOOT! well done…although…i do believe a larger brush or roller would have made short work of it…hmmm, then we wouldn’t have been as entertained… ok…i am GLAD you used the small brush! :) thanks for the entertainment! grace

Thanks, Mrs. Grace! I actually looked for our roller but couldn’t find it, so I figured oh well. Cayla only wanted half the bathroom painted anyway so it worked out =)
