Egyptian Layover

Posted in Travel, Videos by matt on Wednesday, October 7, 2009

When planning our trip to Iraq we intentionally took a flight through Egypt Air because, not only was it one of the cheapest options, but it meant a 10 hour layover in Cairo. And that, my friends, meant a mad dash to the pyramids. Leaving the airport during a layover is always risky regardless of the amount of downtime you have, but in this case it ended up being well worth it.

Cayla has already uploaded a few pictures from our layover here, so I’ll just send you there instead of uploading them all over again. Instead, I’ve uploaded a video clip we shot with the Flip MinoHD that my parents got Cayla for her birthday.

Oh man I sure hope not. We’re not even kinda ready for that yet, though I know you’d like it.
