Painting the Bathroom Time-lapse
I made this in honor of my mom’s strange love for painting walls. I wish we could’ve painted it together. Or maybe I could’ve just watched?
It took awhile to figure out how to do a time-lapse video with our camera. Apparently the software discs that come with your camera actually have software on them–crazy, right? The intervals are only 5 seconds apart, but I think it still turned out alright since I painted with a tiny brush.
Afternoon at the Gun Range
I’ve already posted this in a few other places, but I’d like to have it on this blog as well.
If you haven’t seen it, the men in my family took a day off to enjoy a little bromantic getaway at the Dallas police force gun range. We got to shoot some awesome guns, and I decided to try my hand at our camera’s video feature.
I’m seriously interested in doing more video whenever possible, but I know I’ve got a lot to learn. If you’ve got any pointers or critiques or anything please leave them in the comment section below. And thanks for helping me get better!
Bike Ride Down the Silver Strand
This is my first attempt at using the video feature on our new camera, and it turned out to be a lot of fun! We took a little bike ride down Coronado Island’s Silver Strand and around San Diego Bay.
I’ll probably never try another one-handed bike ride project like this again, though. And the fact that I didn’t break my neck is also encouraging considering my history with biking accidents.
But it was a good opportunity to get a little more accustomed to the T2i’s video features, and I enjoyed editing with iMovie ’09 as well. Hope ya like it!
